[Infographic] Timeline: Palm Sunday to Pentecost

What is the sequence of events from Palm Sunday to the Crucifixion to the Resurrection and the Ascension to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit?

I created this infographic  and was struck by the incredible parallel events that occurred during that period and the three key Jewish holidays of Passover, First Fruits, and Pentecost. I also tried to pin the specific dates down, although this is by no means certain. Nevertheless they DID occur on SOME day, and they were REAL.

Timeline Palm Sunday to Pentecost

If you’re like me, you may be somewhat hazy about the sequence of events from Palm Sunday to the Crucifixion to the Resurrection and the Ascension to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. A timeline is a great visual device to see the sequence of events.

Therefore, I created this infographic after researching many sources on the Internet, like Answers in Genesis (https://answersingenesis.org/) and RBC Ministries (http://rbc.org), and Bible resources, like The NIV Study Bible.

I was struck by the incredible parallel events that occurred during that period and [...]

Top-Ten Proofs of God’s Existence

The last evidence for the existence of God is Jesus himself. He claimed to be God. Is this a credible claim? The answer is yes.

First, let’s establish that he really claimed to be God. Some people say that Jesus did not claim to be God. Instead, they say that the idea that Jesus was God was made up 300 years after he died. However, that is not what the historical record shows.

The earliest account of Jesus’ life is the Gospel of [...]

Top-Ten Proofs of God’s Existence

God is mentioned over and over in the Bible. Are these historical accounts reliable?  For example, here are several accounts of people encountering God in the Bible:

Genesis 3: 8-9

8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the LORD God called to the man, “Where are you?”

Lesson 8 of 10 Beauty And Goodness Exist Where Did They Come From

Top-Ten Proofs of God’s Existence

(Retrieved from http://www.outdoor-photos.com/)

Where do goodness and beauty come from? Are they merely conditioned responses from eons of survival or do they reveal something more?

Ralph O. Muncaster asks, “Exactly what is pleasure? Why is there pleasure? How do we measure it?”1 Evolutionists say pleasure is a conditioned response from acts necessary for survival. For example, sex is pleasurable because it encourages reproduction. Muncaster questions why those impulses couldn’t have arisen as instincts, like eating and drinking, to stay alive. Where [...]
