When people such as actor and director Clint Eastwood say about gay marriage, “Just give everybody the chance to have the life they want,” how should be respond? Here are three reasons (along with three short videos below) why gay marriage is impossible:

Please refer to Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Romans 1:26-28. Homosexuality is a sin that carries a severe penalty by God. Homosexuals are given over to their passions; their hearts are allowed to be hardened by their sins.
2. The purpose of marriage is to become one flesh and reproduce, which is not possible with homosexuals
A man and a woman match up anatomically and are the only union that can produce children, which perpetuates the human race.

THE PURPOSE OF MARRIAGE IS TO BECOME ONE FLESH AND REPRODUCE, WHICH IS NOT POSSIBLE WITH HOMOSEXUALS
Description: Chuck Colson explains that “gay marriage” is an oxymoron. Marriage throughout human history had meant the physical, biological, and emotional union of a man and a woman. The purpose of marriage is to propagate the human race, to raise children, as well as for mutual care and support. Two same-sex people can agree to live together, share property, etc., but can never be married. The laws of biology make it impossible. The marriage can never be consummated. Naturally, the male and female bodies go together.
3. Gay marriage will naturally lead to religious persecution and polygamy, bestiality, and pedophilia
If marriage loses its purpose, and we can define it any way we please, then what is to prevent polygamy or marriage to animals, etc.?

Just because you can walk down the aisle and take some vows doesn’t make it a marriage. What is marriage? Does it have a definition that changes? Is it a cultural convention? Greg states that the word “marriage” has been and always will mean the union of a man and a woman for a long period of time in a stable relationship to make a family. The family propagates the human race and is a fundamental unit of civilization. Homosexuals have the same rights as anybody else. They can marry a person of the opposite sex, just like anybody else. So called same-sex marriage is an attempt to get the government (culture) to affirm that a same-sex union is the same thing as a heterosexual union. Its not about “rights;” it’s about respect. Is marriage anything we want to call it? If so, what about polygamy? What about marriage to animals?
